BEST FRIENDS KILLED IN CRASH

The two missing friends, Nosipho Mahamba and Sibongile Leonard, were found at the government mortuary.

BEST friends Nosipho Mahamba (20) and Sibongile Leonard (25) went on an outing on Tuesday 3 October and never returned home.
Their desperately worried families reported them missing after failing to reach them on their cellphones.
But the search ended in tragedy on Monday
The bosom friends were positively identified by their families at the government mortuary! Police believe they were killed in a car crash on 4 October.
Nosipho’s sad sister Beauty (31) from Number 5 kasi in Galeshewe in Kimberley in the Northern Cape, said: “My sister was a first-year human resources student.
“When she failed to return home I called her cellphone but it went straight to voicemail. We started to get worried and we went to file a missing persons case at the police station.”
They were last seen climbing into an Opel Corsa bakkie.
“We were shocked when police arrived on Monday and asked us to go and identify the body and it was Nosipho’s.”
Beauty said they will miss her beautiful smile and laughter.
Sibongile’s brother David (47) said: “We still can’t believe that she was killed in a car accident.”
Police spokesman Captain Bashoabile Kale confirmed that six people were killed after a truck and an Opel Corsa bakkie collided on 4 October.
“Three victims were immediately traced and identified after the accident,” Kale told the People’s Paper.
“The three remaining unidentified victims, two young women and a male, were taken to the state mortuary. All three of them have been identified by their families.”
The missing persons file has been closed, but a culpable homicide investigation is under way.
