TWO BOYS DROWN IN RIVER!

TWO boys aged 11 and 10 drowned in a river near Oakford in Verulam, KwaZulu Natal on Sunday.
A member of public called Reaction Unit South Africa requesting help after they failed to find the boys who were last seen swimming in the river.
According to Reaction Unit South Africa,their clothes were found lying on the river bank, however, they could not be found.
"RUSA Members proceeded to the scene and upon arrival met with the family of both boys who confirmed that they had not returned home. Police Officers from the Durban Search and Rescue as well as the Umhlali K9 Search and Rescue were called out and upon arrival a specialised Police dog was used to conduct a sweep of the river," RUSA said.
Police divers entered the river and recovered the naked bodies of the two boys.
RUSA said paramedics assessed the children after they were found, and they showed no signs of life.
According to residents in the area the river is generally shallow however, after the recent rains the water levels increased drastically.
