SANCO AND ANCYL URGE MATRICS TO SHINE!

THE South African National Civic Organisation (Sanco) has asked public transport operators to provide hassle free transportation to learners.
This as matrics started writing their exams on Monday.
Following that the African National Congress Youth League (ANCYL) also came out to motivate the class of 2017.
The ANCYL  urged matriculants to put in "extra commitment" when writing their National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations.
Meanwhile, Sanco also called on community protests to be suspended to avoid disrupting examinations.
"Public transport operators must demonstrate their patriotism and transport learners to their various examination centres across the country," said SANCO.
In a statement the ANCYL spokesperson Mlondi Mkhize said "The ANCYL knows that Grade 12 has become more than necessary for the job market in South Africa."
He has urged students to do better than their predecessors.
The youth league said it was challenging the Class of 2017 to do better than the previous matriculants.
"We hope that these matriculants will be able to reach 90% to 100% pass rate,'' said Mkhize.
