EFF to host its own memorial to Winnie Madikizela-Mandela

The Economic Freedom Fighters will be hosting its own memorial service to late struggle hero Winnie Madikizela-Mandela, the party announced on Saturday. 
According to a statement issued by the party's national spokesperson Mbuyiseni Ndlozi, the party will be hosting its own memorial to the late icon on Wednesday, April 11. 
The party will be hosting a memorial service at 12:00 at the Majwemasweu Stadium, Deeplevel, Brandfort, on Wednesday afternoon. 
The late struggle icon was exiled to the small Free State town in 1977, where according to reports, she lived a life of isolation and loneliness. 
The memorial service will be addressed by EFF leader, Julius Malema. 
The African National Congress will also be hosting several provincial memorial services across the country this week, with a national memorial service scheduled for Tuesday, April 10, in Mbizana in the Eastern Cape.
