A FILIPINO man is fighting for his life after trying to kill himself by cutting off his 4-5, which he then flushed down the toilet.
According to SunHK, the tragedy happened in his flat in an area of Hong Kong called Shau Kei Wan last Sunday morning.
Named only as Andy (42), the report says he worked as a driver and shared the flat with his girlfriend. A neighbour heard her screaming for help on that fateful morning and called the cops, who found him in a pool of blood and without a 4-5.
Andy later apparently told paramedics that he had got rid of his 4-5 down the loo.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he remains in a serious condition.
Cops are treating the incident as an attempted suicide, although initial investigations have not come up with a suicide note.
The report adds that Andy had been suffering from an unexplained swelling on his 4-5. He had asked a neighbour to come with him to the hospital to get it looked at, but she had turned him down, saying she was too embarrassed.
